Black Sheep Restaurant

After spending 13 years working in the restaurant and selling it in 2010, 13 years later Jamie heard that it was going to be closing forever in 2023. Hearing this he couldn’t let it happen knowing its asset for the Mosgiel community, so he decided to come home filled with new exciting ideas.
With Jamies 30 years working in the hospitality industry he decided it would be a great opportunity to bring his kids on with him. His oldest daughter as restaurant manager, oldest son taking care of maintenance, his other 2 daughters working front of house and his youngest son in charge of can recycling.
Jamie also used his many years of experience to give others the opportunity to get their start in hospitality by bringing on younger staff and believing in their success.
While creating The Black Sheep Restaurant & Bar, Jamie strived to create a place that had quality food at reasonable prices served to you with top service in a warm and friendly environment.
After spending time talking and listening to his customers, he discovered the need for a place people could go to have a quiet drink with their mates, so the Tapas Bar was born.
With all the changes Jamie makes overtime, he enjoys keeping the community in the loop by posting it to The Black Sheep page which also gives him the chance to get any feedback given by his customers which he uses to further improve his restaurant.
