Rams Bottoms Wild Dunedin Tours are available on 3 dates – 12th, 17th & 19th April 2025. The tour is approx 5.5/6hrs and has a capacity of 11 passengers per day. Seats are limited, so don’t miss out book your tickets NOW!
We will pick you up at a set city location in our comfy Mercedes van for an adventure!
We will taste, feel and experience Dunedin’s ‘wild’ side! Afterwards you will be dropped back to the city.
On this 3 stop tour, you will get to experience a bee farm, followed by The Black Sheep Restaurant for a scrumptious ‘wild’ lunch and then to finish the tour we head into the hills above Mosgiel and be treated to gin & beer tastings at the Saddle Hill Brewery & Distillery.
Bee Supplies Otago – Murray & Heidi will show the process of how we get our honey, the story of the honeybee & even a chance to extract honey from the hive.
The Black Sheep, Mosgiel – Jamie and the team will serve up a delicious 2 course lunch with a wild twist. Make your choice of which wild lunch you would like to indulge in, and it will be beautifully presented to you for you to enjoy a ‘wild’ taste of Dunedin.

- Wild thyme crusted venison on wild greens with Saddle Hill wild gin glaze
- Pan seared duck breast on a wild mushroom risotto
- Crusted chicken with wild cress slaw, bacon and wild spiced sauce

- Honey pannacotta on honey comb
- Wild berry cheesecake

Saddle Hill Brewery & Distillery – Nestled amongst the Kanuka’s on Saddle Hill, this distillery is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered! Ben will talk you through what goes into making his beautiful gin and full-bodied beers. Then Ben will take you through a tasting session and guide you through a selection of craft beer & spirits.
